Un language pour les prochains humains
Les "Logogrammes" poursuivent ma recherche de la ligne, réduite ici à sa forme la plus économe : un signe. Affranchie de la figuration, la ligne se condense en une écriture protéiforme, entre geste, image et langage.
Développée dans l'univers de "Plasticities", la série imagine la langue d'un peuple habitant une terre de plastique. Née d'un monde de chaos et de métamorphose, cette langue, à rebours de Babel, puise dans les territoires post-humains, la créolisation et la résilience. Ses sonorités, sa grammaire, ses dialectes et ses significations restent à inventer.

A language for next humans
“Logograms” carry the graphic research of line to its most economical form: the sign. Freed from figuration, the line condenses into a protean writing system, somewhere between gesture, image and language.
Developed within the world of "Plasticities", the series imagines the language of a people inhabiting a plastic land. Emerging from a world of chaos and transformation, this language, in a reversal of Babel, draws on post-human territories, creolisation and resilience. Its sounds, grammars, dialects and meanings remain to be invented.
