Rituel pour un corps
"Promenade" est né au cœur du premier confinement, d'un corps qui reprend son souffle. Ce qui apparaît comme une chorégraphie est d'abord un geste de survie. Filmée sous l'oeil d'un drone survolant les cours désertes de la Cité Internationale des Arts, l'oeuvre oscille entre deux distances irréconciliables : la vision aérienne et l'intériorité sonore. La position du spectateur entre voyeurisme et surveillance soulève la question de l'identité du moniteur du drone, qui reste irrésolue.
Ritual for a body
"Promenade" was born from inside the first lockdown, from a body learning to breathe again. Shot under the eye of a drone above the deserted courtyards of the Cité Internationale des Arts, the piece moves between two irreconcilable distances: the aerial perspective and the inner world of sound. The viewer’s position, caught between voyeurism and surveillance, raises the question of the identity of the drone operator, which remains unresolved.
